At A S Training, we believe in supporting people — not just through our apprenticeship programmes, but in every way we can. That’s why we’re proud to have made a donation to ABTA LifeLine on behalf of our apprentices.
For those who may not be familiar, ABTA LifeLine is the official charity of ABTA, the UK’s largest travel association. Since 1988, ABTA LifeLine has provided vital financial and practical support to individuals in the travel industry facing serious hardship. From illness and bereavement to unexpected crises, their work brings hope and relief to people during their most difficult times.
Our donation is just one small gesture — but it’s one we hope makes a meaningful difference. It’s a way of giving back to an industry that so many of our apprentices are proud to be part of, and a reminder that no one should face tough times alone.
Why We Chose to Support ABTA LifeLine
The travel industry is full of passionate, hardworking individuals. But when life throws a curveball, it can be difficult to know where to turn. That’s where ABTA LifeLine steps in — with empathy, care, and practical help.
Their support has already changed the lives of over 800 families, awarding more than £1 million in grants over the past three decades. Whether it’s helping someone stay in their home, pay medical bills, or simply cope through a crisis, ABTA LifeLine is there when it matters most.
As a training provider committed to nurturing future talent in the travel and tourism sector, we see firsthand the value of community. Supporting this charity felt like a natural extension of our values.
We Encourage Others to Pledge Their Support
We’re sharing this not for recognition, but as an encouragement to others in the sector: if you’re in a position to support ABTA LifeLine, please consider making a donation.
Whether it’s a one-off contribution or a long-term pledge, every pound helps extend that lifeline a little further. The more we come together, the more impact we can make — not just as businesses, but as people who care.
