A Journey Built on Passion, Progression and Apprenticeships
At A S Training, there’s nothing we enjoy more than celebrating the success of our apprentices. That’s why we were absolutely delighted to see Tyler from Idle Travel featured on the front cover of this week’s Travel Weekly.
For many people, appearing on the front cover of one of the travel industry’s most respected publications would be a career highlight. For Tyler, it’s another exciting milestone in what has already been an incredible journey.
His story is a fantastic example of how apprenticeships can open doors, build confidence and create opportunities for long-term career growth.
Starting a Career Through a Travel Apprenticeship
Like many young people entering the industry, Tyler began his journey through a Level 3 Travel Consultant Apprenticeship with A S Training.
The apprenticeship provided him with the opportunity to gain hands on experience while developing the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in the fast-paced world of travel.
Working alongside the team at Idle Travel, Tyler quickly developed his customer service skills, destination knowledge and understanding of the travel industry. As his confidence grew, so did his passion for the role.
Continuing the Learning Journey
One of the things that makes Tyler’s story particularly inspiring is that he didn’t stop learning once he completed his Travel Consultant Apprenticeship.
Recognising the value of continuous development, Tyler chose to continue his learning journey and is currently completing a Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship.
This has allowed him to expand his skillset beyond travel sales and customer service, developing valuable knowledge in digital marketing, content creation and social media.
In today’s travel industry, these skills are becoming increasingly important as businesses look to connect with customers through engaging online content and storytelling.
Tyler’s commitment to continuous learning demonstrates exactly why apprenticeships can be such a powerful tool for career progression.
Recognition on the Front Cover of Travel Weekly
Being featured on the front cover of Travel Weekly is a remarkable achievement and a testament to Tyler’s hard work, dedication and positive attitude.
The feature highlights not only his own success but also the opportunities available to young people entering the travel industry through apprenticeships.
For aspiring travel professionals, Tyler’s journey shows that apprenticeships are not simply a route into employment. They can become the foundation for a rewarding and varied career.
The Importance of Employer Support
Behind every successful apprentice is a supportive employer.
We would like to congratulate the team at Idle Travel for providing an environment where Tyler has been able to learn, develop and thrive.
Employers play a vital role in helping apprentices gain practical experience, build confidence and apply their learning in real-world situations.
The partnership between dedicated employers and quality apprenticeship training creates opportunities that can genuinely transform careers.
